Celebrated in different parts
These farmers’ festivals, celebrated in different parts of our country, present a glimpse of India's rich cultural heritage and diversity. These festivals are celebrations of the happiness, prosperity, and progress which follow the hard work of our Annadata farmers. These festivals are also an occasion to respect their hard work.
I wish that these joyous festivals inspire us to contribute to the progress of our nation and spread the spirit of harmony among our fellow citizens”.
A festival is an extraordinary event celebrated by a community and centering on some characteristic aspect or aspects of that community and its religion or culture. It is often marked as a local or national holiday, mela, or Eid.
