For an example of domestic birds, the term "domestic" describes any bird bred within the country in which it resides. In India States, domestic birds are birds that are bred and hatched on Indian soil. They normally have a closed band around their leg to show that they have been domestically bred.

How many domestic birds are there?

There are at least 206 types of house birds, but not every bird is appropriate for a pet. Birds need a great deal of attention to be happy and healthy. They can be great pets, but only if you have the time to devote to them. Birds have varying lifespans based on their size and care.

Domestic – converted or adapted to domestic use; “domestic animals” brought from wildness into a domesticated state; “tame animals”. Wild – Occurring, growing, or living in a natural state; not domesticated, cultivated, or tamed, not inhabited or farmed.
