Unsuccessful people tend to remain unhappy and unsuccessful because they spend too much time enviously focusing on the accomplishments of others. They refuse to take responsibility for their own lack of achievement, and jealously obsess about those who actually put the work in, take smart risks, and hit their goals.

In the words of Winston Churchill

In the words of Winston Churchill: "Success is not final, failure is not fatal -- it is the courage to continue that counts." If you have ever failed in the past but never gave up, you are stronger than you think. If you have failed recently and are considering giving up, don't.

If you're a negative thinker or just a pessimist, then you're going to put up roadblocks to success - before you even try. In other words, you're setting yourself up for failure. Work on becoming a positive thinker by surrounding yourself with positive people and becoming more aware of your surroundings.

I was given significant time to wrap up the task. I split the work according to my deadline. When just 2 days were left, I shut down the system without saving my work. I quickly realized the mistake and restarted the work just to finish it in time.

The biggest problem is the person. The same goal some people can achieve easily, but some can't achieve at all. That is not about the goal, it is about a person. Success is hard because some person is not willing or, don't have enough dedication or skills, and knowledge to achieve some goals.

There are 8 very simple rules that you can follow to become truly successful.

1.   Be Passionate. And do what you for love. ...
2.  Work Hard. Don't ever fool yourself—success comes from really hard work. ...
3.  Be Good. And by that, I mean damn good. ...
4.  Focus. ...
5.  Push the Limits. ...
6.  Serve. ...
7.  Create Ideas. ...
8.  Be Persistent.

Albert Einstein had the label "mentally slow" put on his permanent school record. Henry Ford's first two automobile companies failed. Oprah Winfrey was fired from an early job as a television news anchor. Jerry Seinfeld was booed off stage in his first stand-up comedy appearance.

Success is tough no matter how you slice it. With so many people vying and competing in what many labels a zero-sum game, achieving any semblance of grand-scale success has become monumentally difficult. And it will only get harder as the years wear on.

Hard work and dedication lead to a successful life, and dedication and commitment to the desired outcome, a goal you just can't shake, is what life is all about. There are no shortcuts to getting where you want to be. That means you need to put in the necessary time to realize your goals.
