How to Prepare for APSC CCE Interview 2022?
The candidates appearing for the APSC CCE Examination 2022 must not wait for their Mains result, and should start preparing for the interview. Given below are a few tips to help you prepare for the final Interview round.
Make a habit of reading the newspapers and editorials daily at the earliest. You must be aware of the current affairs of the national and international importance of the last 12 months. However, only the knowledge of facts and events is not sufficient, you must also have an opinion about them. The interviewer would want to know your opinion about a topic more than your knowledge about the facts and figures.
You must practice critical analysis of topics. You should be able to critically analyze a topic, giving all possible arguments in favor as well as against, and all the pros and cons. It is vital to have an unbiased opinion about any given topic.
To practice critical analysis
To practice critical analysis, you can pick up a topic every day. Summarise the topic and list all the points in favor or against it. You can even try speaking out about that topic. You can either face the mirror or a wall or practice speaking your answers.
Use the APSC CCE previous year's question papers to revise the General Studies part. You must revise them, again and again, to stay up to date.
You must have a basic knowledge of the
optional subject that you have chosen.
Finally, a few days before the interview, take your time to prepare a good introduction of yourself (bio-data). Your introduction is your first impression of the interviewer. It should be precise, but unique that describes you and your capabilities the best. However, you must only include the things that are true and that you are confident about. It is a negative impression if you project yourself differently from what you actually are.
The last tip is applicable to any interview that you go to. If you do not know the answer to a question, then simply say that you don’t. Rather than giving the wrong answer or talking about unrelated things, you can say, “Sorry Sir/Ma’am, I do not know the answer to this question”. Or if you know an answer but are unsure about it, or know only a little about it, then simply say that you are unsure about it. If they still ask you to answer then go ahead.
