Nursery class syllabus |Nursery schools, LKG (Lower Kindergarten).  Nursery schools or pre-schools will typically accommodate children between the ages of 3 and 5. These are considered to be early education facilities and help children learn about managing themselves in a classroom setting before they start in Reception class (Foundation Stage 2).

In the Indian education system, there are 3 years of elementary education before primary education. These three years are Nursery, LKG (Lower Kindergarten), and UKG (Upper Kindergarten).

Children can start nursery at age three or four. Most children usually spend three or four terms at the nursery before starting primary school.

Key Difference: Kindergarten and nursery both denote a type of preschool that focuses on children from three to five years of age. Generally, the nursery is used to denote a preschool that focuses on kids from three to five years. Kindergarten, on the other hand, denotes the first year of schooling.
