Earthquake 3.40 Richter Scale at Gayan Gaon, Nagaon District in Assam today's Reports, an earthquake today India now measuring 3.40 Richter Scale near Village Dhing, in Assam on Wednesday only 10 km Depth.
An earthquake of 3.40 Richter Scale Assam on Friday morning, the tremors of which were felt in Assam apart from neighboring State and northern parts of Assam. The National Center for Seismology reported as per earthquake application that the quake was recorded at 8:39:11am, with its epicenter at Dhing, Nagaon in middle Assam at a depth of 10.00 km and Ariel distance 38km from Tezpur, location 26.480°N, 92.440°E in Assam (Nagaon district).
In lower Assam districts, including Guwahati and Arunachal Pradesh, people came out of their homes in panic. Tremors of the earthquake have also been felt in the northern districts of Meghalayan including Tezpur, Guwahati, and Kokrajhar.
There was no immediate report of any injury to anyone or damage to any property, officials said.
